first of all a person does not "try" any business. You do a five year business plan (like on sba.gov) and after you’ve prepared this which takes about three months you’ll have a good idea (after your attempt at budgeting and pricing your items, etc.) as to whether you will succeed or fold in 5 years. If you will fold then either you can go back and tweak the figurework until it works for you, or you can abandon your idea. In my opinion the website is one of the last thing a person does, when they have all the product and all and are ready to open their business. It’s best if you plan for the website in your business plan, then use that business plan to get yourself a loan (remember to include the cost of advertising) and then have a professional make you a website. You have more than enough to do than to try to wear all those different hats. Plus if you have a website you will also need a webmaster. Don’t go into business by doing everything yourself.
